Which are the best sources to get content ideas? Where i can learn that what my audience is really wanting, what their problems really are? I am not talking about community forums or boards. I am looking for other options.

Go for general mass query sites. Such as Yahoo answers, Quora or answers.com etc. I am sure you will find plenty of ideas.
