Affiliate Marketing needs a little more effort to get sales in my opinion. As just like 'brian' said SMO is the simplest way to get free traffic but I think that its not enough. To get most targeted traffic you must invest a little money first. Do PPC campaigns its the best.

Try forum marketing. I may take some time to build reputation atleast a month or two and you will have to be patient and work hard. but it will direct the most targeted traffic and you will get sales for sure.
