Giving Updates or asking question in Emails which is better?

In my opinion both are good and fine. Both works time to time greatly.

I don't want to debate with 'Paul' but asking question gives more CTR, yeah newsletters updates are also good but they are less in comparison to questions unless they are super attractive.
