Negative Fake Reviews, how to combat them?
#1
If somebody is trying to downgrade you by adding fake negative reviews to your products and all. Then what is the best possible way to combat it? There is no way to know the actual ip address because most of these platform will not share it. Then what to do?

One possible way is to add positive reviews. If they had add 4 negative reviews then you add 10 positive reviews. If you alone is unable to do it then buy it. Some would suggest that you proceed through legal expertise but I wouldn't suggest that.

If they are few then you just ignore them. Otherwise, you have to taken action.

Buying positive reviews is one option as Danni suggested. But I don't suggest to go with money spending options first. I know that the comment platform doesn't share ip but you can certainly ask them how you can block them. Provide them with proof and they shall do it for you.

Buy positive reviews. If somebody is doing it intentionally then I assure you that mere warning or blocking their ip's won't do a thing.

Ask your genuine customers to add a positive review. It will help. Do the online reputation management for your site.

Its a very slow solution. Instead of that OP should consider buying the reviews.

One of the ways of combating spam and negative reviews on any website is reporting those posts to the administrators or moderators of those websites.
You could also ask Google to disavow bad links pointing to your site.

These two are the ways you can combat bad publicity of your website.
