If you want to grow your forum then it is necessary that you post everyday. Build content to attract more and more users. Nobody likes an empty forum.

I agree. It may sound a bit harsh but this is the way to grow a newly founded forum. You have to be online the entire day help your members, build content according to their needs.
It doesn't matter that whether you do it someone else do it for you. But its important that your forum must not look empty. People are attracted by the content of forum which gets content every single day.

What do you think what attracts the visitors to join the forum? Is the the theme or shiny templates? The answer is NO.
People are only attracted by content. It creates the incentive among the visitors to join your new forum.

Content for forum threads can be created for start ups but mostly ended with discussions from the members.
