Best ways to get a new Landing Page

I am trying to get new Landing page. What should I do? Should I hire someone? I have some knowledge in designing but will it be okay to get effective conversions?

Did you have any past experience of designing a landing page. Your knowledge in designing is not enough to get you effective conversions. If you have experience then may be should try to do it but if not then its better to hire a professional. As landing page are just more than designing, various factors have to be keep in mind.

I have designed a few. But I will not say that I am an expert.

I will suggest that as you have said, you have some experience in designing landing pages. So, do it yourself first and see how it goes. If it goes well then there no need to hire anyone if not then you should look onto a professional. Don't invest money while testing your landing page as there is a risk that you will loose it.
