After the recent announcement from Google about changing http to https, which will be ranking factor according to them. What do you think about it?? Will it effect the SEO Industry??

I personally don't think that this decision by Google is about to make any difference. Because most the newbie bloggers or small site owners along with the site owners who does not have any transactional procedure in their sites will have no use of it. Then, why will they upload SSL's in their sites which will only make the loading time longer.

I think its a very dumb move by Google. It is going to hurt themselves in return.
I heard about some webmasters who are happy about this i don't know how. I agree with 'motionz' that if my site does not have transactional procedure then why i am going to do it. If Google is doing this to prevent spammers then they should know they are going to slow down the loading speed of each and every site out there.
