If I choose to convert my site from http to https then my site's rankings will increase?

It is ranking factor for Google. Its well known. But it doesn't impact your site if it has got no money transaction elements or money related element. If your site is a simple blog then I will suggest don't do it as it will only slow up your loading speed which can impact your rankings negatively.

It helps in security purposes means using https before any site it shows the secured connection. It has no link with ranking.
