Google SERP Changes & Algorithm Updates - September 2020 - anush - 09-01-2020

After the drop in traffic over the weekend I wasn't expecting a comeback like this.

Almost all of our traffic that fell last week has recovered or recovering.Smile

Ok @anush Let's not get over excited. I am seeing it too but you know its Google.

Things can turn around within just a couple of minutes.

Around 20% rise is household appliances sites. And around 30% in eCommerce site are noticeable now. Other niches are yet to be seen.

I don't know why are you guys got excited yesterday.. I have seen no such traffic spike. But yes traffic was good so conversions went well.

@zeus 30% increase in eCommerce, hmmm.. I kept hearing this yesterday more or less. Could be any event caused it?

Look traffic will fluctuate that is the rule. But why adsense earnings are down. I can live with no conversions and all. But eCPM's are down as hell which is bothering me the most.

@diamondhead The last two days ad revenue is really low. I think the reason behind is that Google is sending very poor quality traffic.

Recently adsense is behaving like this. One day or two it stays up and then falls and then repeat the whole process.

In the meantime, is anybody seeing any changes in Discovcer traffic?

Traffic was bad on last Friday and around.

But my guess its now recovering because good CPM rates are also coming back.

Let's see what happens tomorrow. Because today is Sunday so nothing can be concluded.

@super27 It is indeed recovering today. But it was like this the previous week too then in mid week it fell. Adsense has no consistency these days. Maybe its due to the virus effected fluctuating market, who knows?!

Some are shouting about an update coming or going, something like that. But frankly I am not seeing any changes in regard to previous weeks or so.

Yeah, a few hundred North American traffic is less. But other than that, nothing. Even Discover traffic is in recovery since Saturday.

@mediadrug But something is happening since the last 48 hours. Some has noticed and some didn't. But it became clear today. Very much irregular traffic.

Today traffic was through through the roof at first and then it fell & became zero. Along with no or very low click rates despite of high traffic.
