How to stop Google Analytics from tracking my own visits?? - mrb.frequency - 03-09-2015

How can I stop Google Analytics from tracking my own visits? I use two browsers firefox and chrome, & it tracks both. How to stop it? I get confused my real visitors and my own visits.

Its actually quite easy to do.
At first find out what is your ip adress. Go to this site to find out what its is http://www.whatismyip.com/
Once you have found your ip. Go to your Google Analytic's account:
Got to Admin> Filters > Add new filter.
In add new filter
1. Set the Filter type to 'Exclude'.
2. Select source or destination to 'traffic from the ip addresses'.
3. Select impression to 'that are equal to'.
4. Paste your ip. And also set your desired apply filter to views.
5. Save it.

That's it.

Good sharing Paul. But I will prefer to use a plugin or addon to my browser. Its quite easy and simple.
