Emailing to an Implied Consent List - harvee21 - 12-01-2018
The list gathered is through implied consent of the subscribers. They were the customers of a previous store and now as I have bought the business, so I have inherited the list. How to interact with them without being ending up in spam?

Here is what I was thinking. Send them a welcome email and tell them that how you have acquired their emails. Sure many will leave you as soon as they hear you but the remaining ones will have faith in your honesty .

Come clean first. Then do anything. As suggested earlier contact them and tell them about you. If the previous store and the new one are somewhat similar then they might not even doubt you.
We acquire list all the time but we don't loose them since because we have acquired them.

I am not following that why are you so worried. Companies and enterprises takes over other companies and businesses all the time.
