1. Authors must have a track record of writing great content
2. Watch outgoing links
3. The content must be detailed and unique
4. Be picky
5. Don’t give out author accounts
6. You need to fully own the content
7. Authors need to help build and support your community

Also you don't do post just for the links, write the content for the users
