Quality guest posting is more than enough. If you continuously guest post on high authority blogs of your niche it will bring trust, authority and brand awareness along with quality links.

I would suggest that you try another medium, but yes it is good if you have a high authority website wherein you can promote your site. Other than that you can also use social media its a good source of traffic.

I don't think only guest posting is enough for link building. But guest posting is the best part of SEO. And by doing this tactics you can easily increase your website ranking and traffic.

Guest posting is enough if your guest posts are being published on highly influencing niche sites or on niche experts blogs. But I would still advice not to solely depend on single link building strategy.

If the links are from quality pages relevant to the linking page with relevant anchor texts in the hosting page then guest posting is enough in my opinion.

No, Guest posting is not enough,For traffic and ranking social promotion and social bookmarking is also important.
